If you’re right that all of these photos were taken by a photographer who died more than 70 years ago, there wouldn’t be any copyright on these images.

Avoid all of the legal issues by having releases ready to be signed before recording any video, audio or still photos, and by buying, obtaining permission to use, or creating your own pieces to use in the video (images, sound effects, music, etc.).
